The B&B was tucked away in a peaceful location with beautiful views. It was conveniently located just a short walk from the town center. the rooms were spacious, clean, and well-presented, with comfortable beds and modern en-suite bathrooms. I particularly enjoyed the added bonus of having a conservatory attached to my room, where I could relax and enjoy the stunning views. the breakfast options were delicious and there was a wide range to choose from.
Although the B&B was in a great location, it was a bit difficult to find at first due to the narrow drive. the rooms did not have air conditioning, which made the summer nights a bit uncomfortable.

The location was stunning, with breathtaking views of the countryside. It was the perfect setting for a peaceful Christmas getaway. the rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere. the bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. - the staff were friendly and accommodating, always willing to assist with any requests or questions we had. Their attentive service made us feel welcome and well taken care of.
The breakfast was a letdown. There were some cleanliness issues and we found hairs in our food, which was very off-putting.

My stay at Oaklodge House was absolutely fantastic. From the moment I arrived, the host made me feel so welcome and comfortable. The room was spacious, warm, and beautifully appointed, with breathtaking views of the surrounding area. The breakfast options were plentiful and delicious, and everything ran smoothly. The location of the B&B was also perfect, with easy access to charming pubs, shops, and restaurants in the town of Leyburn. I particularly enjoyed dining at the Saffron Indian restaurant and trying beers from the local Wensleydale brewery. The cleanliness of the guesthouse was impeccable, and the high standard of comfort made my stay even more enjoyable. The view from the garden was mesmerizing, and I even spotted a chocolate chick on the table for Easter - such a sweet touch. I highly recommend Oaklodge House for anyone looking to visit Yorkshire's finest attractions.

We had a truly amazing stay at a B&B in the North Yorkshire Dales. The location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the countryside. Our room was immaculately clean and had its own little conservatory, perfect for enjoying the scenery. The landlady was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. She was so attentive during breakfast, always offering us more coffee or toast. The breakfast itself was delicious, with a great selection of continental options and a hot breakfast choice. The attention to detail in the room, from the mini fridge with fresh milk to the fluffy towels and beautiful toiletries, made us feel so pampered. we couldn't have asked for a better experience, and we will definitely be recommending this place to others.

We truly got great value for our money at this hidden gem of a hotel. The room was pristine and had stunning views, complete with a cozy seating area. The location was perfect - peaceful and surrounded by the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside. The staff, especially Lynne, were incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and friendly throughout our stay.
More breakfast choices would have made it even better, like a wider selection of pastries or cereals.
